How to find us
The hamlet of Tiefenbach lies at 2109 m above sea level in the south-western corner of Canton Uri, in the high Urseren valley — sheltered and surrounded by the Furka mountain chain.

Summer access
Tip: In summer you can reach us easily via the Furka Pass road. Free parking is available directly at the hotel.
From the south (Ticino)
From Airolo over the Gotthard Pass to Hospental, then on to Realp and along the Furka Pass road to the hotel.
From the west (Valais)
From Brig to Oberwald, then to Gletsch. Follow the Furka Pass road over the pass and down to the hotel.
From the north (Central Switzerland)
From Flüelen on the A2 towards Göschenen. Exit at Göschenen, continue to Andermatt – Hospental – Realp, then along the Furka Pass road.
From the east (Graubünden)
Over the Oberalp Pass down to Andermatt. From Andermatt towards Hospental – Realp, then along the Furka Pass road.
Motorcycle & bicycle
Furka Pass is one of Switzerland's most beautiful pass roads and a favourite route for motorcyclists and road cyclists. Secure parking is available.

Winter access
Important: In winter the Furka Pass road is closed. The hotel is accessible from Realp only on foot, skis or snowshoes. The winter adventure begins with the journey.

From Realp station approx. 1.5–2 hours ascent. Good fitness and winter equipment required. Headlamp recommended after dark.
Ski touring
Ascent from Realp via the Tiefenbach valley. Avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel are mandatory.

No taxi service, no prepared winter hiking trail. The approach is part of the experience.
Parking in Realp
Since winter 25/26 parking has been managed by the Nager family and the Furka steam railway (DFB). Tiefenbach guests park at the golf course (rear section).

Starting point Realp
Realp is easy to reach by Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB) from Andermatt (10 min.) or from Valais. From Realp station you begin the ascent to the hotel.
